“There is an old belief” SATB Score and Rights to Copy/Print (FREE)
“There is an old belief”, text: John Gibson Lockhart (1794-1854), music: J.D. Jude Jicha (b.1984; Lawrence Conservatory ’06) This challenging accapella piece “on” F-major begins and ends with striking unisons and divides into as many as 8 parts ranging from F2 to A5. It offers many possibilties through rubato for the skilled conductor. There are […]
piano chair
I am looking for advice on piano chairs (with a back.) One of my accompanists has a bad back and I’d like to get a piano chair so she can rest her back during rehearsals when she is not actively playing. I have seen several brands ranging in price from $130 to over $400. Do […]
Middle School All boy’s choir music
I just finished recruiting for next year, and I have 30 boys signed up for 6th grade chorus! I am very excited about this because it means I get to split my 6th grade into an all boys class and an all girls class. I am used to teaching girls, but I have yet to […]
Italian Men’s Chorus Music
Greetings! My men’s chorus just took a gig for an italian festival. Except for Verdi’s “Speed Your Journey” they have nothing in their library which is Italian. Are there any easy arrangements of Italian songs published? It just seems silly not to have one or two. Joseph Guy

I Sing the Body Electric
So…I've seen similar postings from years past, but… …does anyone have an arrangement (prefer SSA or SAB, but will take any) of "I Sing the Body Electric" from the 1981 movie, Fame? There is an out-of-print Ed Lojeski arrangement, but can't seem to find it. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks!

We are currently preparing “O Light of Life” by Mack Wilberg for a concert this summer. The text is by David Warner. It has some unusual imagery. Has anyone written or found a good analysis of this text?

Golovanov
Anybody know where I can get a copy of a men’s piece by Nikolai Golovanov – Slava. Edinorodnii sine (Glory. The only begotten son), Op. 5 No. 5. I have a recording of it, and would love to do it, but Musica Russica doesn’t carry it, and I’m sort of at a loss as to where […]
