I would like to hear from anyone who has had experience with either a choral scholar programme or having an assistant conductor.  How have you divided the duties?  What have been the advantages, expectations, difficulties, etc. etc. Looking forward to your collective wisdom!

 Back in the ’60s & ’70s, the Augustana College Choir’s Wennerberg Chorus (all male) directed by Henry Veld, performed the aforementioned several times.  I was quite taken with it but don’t remember the composer.  I have tried many obvious resources unsuccessfully.  Has anyone any ideas?    Contact: Erik Johanson University of Toledo Music Department, ejohans@utoledo.edu

As a first year teacher, I’m not sure what to do with the last few weeks of school once our final concert is done. I teach high school choir and have about 80 kids in my main choir and we meet every other day for 90 minutes. Any suggestions?

I am looking to buy a keyboard with the following requirements. 1) Touch sensitive with weighted keys, at least 6 octaves (pref full size) 2) Reasonably portable that comes with an X stand 3) Has a good piano, harpsichord and organ sound. Particularly harpsichord sound is important, one that could be used with a chambre orchestra.
