You Can Teach INTRINSIC MOTIVATION To Your Students!

You Can Teach INTRINSIC MOTIVATION To Your Students!

Extrinsic and intrinsic motivation are not the same. If we dangle candy and prizes in front of our students, we are motivating them for extrinsic reasons.

But what if we could ignite a spark within our students? What if we taught them to become self-motivated, to set their own goals, and to be excited about achieving them?

This blog post explores those possibilities. In fact, this is how I’ve managed my choral program for the past 20+ years. This approach has helped me create highly effective student leaders and establish 8 permanent, student-run a-cappella groups that write their own arrangements, teach their own music, and rehearse independently.

If this sounds appealing to you, check out my blog post:
