In December, Anúna paid a visit to Onahama 1st Elementary School, Iwaki, Fukushima to give a very special performance.
 
A word from Michael McGlynn about the trip and video:
 
I thought that this video might interest Choralnet users – two of our members for this tour were from the USA. I have to say that of all the amazing and special things that choral music has given me, this one touched me more than anything else I have ever done with Anúna.   1. This is absolutely fantastic.  Thank you so very much for sharing this.  Would that the world’s politicians could all sit and watch this little clip.  They might learn a thing or two.

  2. Love the way they all turned around to see where the beautiful sound was coming from.  The piano accordians were a surprise – is this big in Japan?   And the little percussionist whose drum was bigger than him/her did a sterling job.

  3. Thank you Michael and Philip for sharing this with us. I’m proud to say that I sing in the Phoenix Chorale with one of the two Americans Michael mentioned, Kira Rugen. She took a brief leave of absence from the Phoenix Chorale to be a part of Anúna’s recent tour to Japan and we were all excited for her.
