What are your must have pieces for sacred male ensemble?

So, the title of the post pretty much says it all.  If you could only pick 2 or 3 anthems/octavos for your church male ensemble, what would those pieces be?  It can be for any combo of voices – TB, TBB, TTBB.   Thanks!

paid vacation for church music directors

My contract is coming up for review and I was considering asking for more paid vacation. Currently I have 4 sundays paid vacation and have been employed there for 20 years. I was just wondering what other church music directors have as far as paid vacation. Thanks.

Opera contests for the middle-aged

Hello,  Colleagues.   Pardon my off-topic query. After making little vocal progress in college 20 years ago i have found a teacher with whom I feel I am making leaps and bounds with! She mentioned (before she knew my true age) about the young singers’ contests run by the Met. After finding I am in […]
