Women’s choir rep. with a Renaissance connection
I am searching for women’s choir repertoire by a living female composer with a connection to the Renaissance period. For example: the text might be a Renaissance sonnet, or, the work might be an arrangement of a Renaissance madrigal. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Great Motown arrangements

Seeking short sacred major works
Once a year my church choir performs 30-45 minutes during the service. We have a budget for about 10 instrumentalists. We have performed Rutter’s Mass of the Children, Webber Requiem, Clausen’s A New Creation. Any new suggestions would be appreciated. The congregation enjoys upbeat selections as well.

Imant Raminsh’s There I Will Stay with You, Whirling – 2 quick questions
I’m hoping someone can advise me on the following questions regarding Imant Raminsh’s gorgeous and somewhat daunting (for our little non-audition choir, anyway) There I Will Stay with You, Whirling: Page 8, measure 60 is marked allargando, followed by a lunga fermata. Do we remain “more majestically slow” after the fermata — so that […]
