I was saddened to learn of the death of Marie-Claire Alain, the renowned French organist.
Dr. Alain recorded the complete organ works of Bach not once, not twice but thrice. May she rest in peace.
As luck would have it, I had programmed Marie-Claire Alain playing some Bach for us this Sunday
as part of my observance of Women’s History Month.
The Rachmaninoff Vespers recording is a new addition to the library. Let me know what you
think of this performance. Thanks for your support.
