American-born choral director Diane Loomer (1940-2012) founded Vancouver-based
men’s chorus Chor Leoni. The Cistercian Monks of Stift Heiligenkreuz made a recording
in 2008 which went triple platinum in Austria.

Alexandre Guilmant (1837–1911) was a French organist who taught
Marcel Dupre among others. The Italian composer Ennio Morricone (1928-)
has written music for over 500 movies and television series. We associate Anonymous
4 with their exquisite singing of plainchant. But as we will hear this morning Anonymous
4 sings early American music very convincingly.

He was a friend of J.S. Bach and godfather to Bach’s son Carl Philipp Emmanuel.
Canty is a Scottish early music ensemble. The Northwest Boychoir will be performing
