Summer 2025 Update

Reflect, refine, and re-enter the academic year with rounds and repetition!

I am Growing Flowers

SSATB a cappella
Difficulty: 3; Duration: 3-5 min.

A beautiful round-based piece with text from Pakistani poet Noor Unnahar.

Every Fire

TTBB & Piano
Difficulty: 3; Duration: 3-5 min.

An impressive, high-energy piece for TB singers with unisons, motivic development and smart divisi.

Together, Unafraid

SSA & Piano
Difficulty: 3; Duration: 3-5 min.

This touching piece is created from students’ shared feelings of connection with others, self-doubt, the responsibility on their generation to fix a broken world, and a strong hope for the future.

Spark and Breath

3-part round & body percussion
Difficulty: 2; Duration: less than 3 min.

This 3-part round is fun to teach and even more fun to sing! It can be used as a warm-up or on the concert stage, with lots of flexibility in voicing and body percussion.

Wishing you a splendid beginning of the new academic year!

Tim
