Live this Thursday, May 14 at 9 PM EST/8 PM CST
Facebook.com/artistrytoday

Recipient of the 2007 National Medal of Arts and the 2016 ASCAP Foundation Life In Music Award, Morten Lauridsen’s compositions occupy a permanent place in today’s standard vocal repertoire.

Lauridsen was composer-in-residence of the Los Angeles Master Chorale from 1995–2001 and has been professor of composition at the USC Thornton School of Music for more than fifty years.

Artistry Today is an online educational platform for artists and those who appreciate artistry. Though live art has been halted in the time of Covid-19, there remains great value in learning about art, just as there is in hearing and seeing it.
