An Industry First, Excelcia Music Publishing Expands Full Choral Catalog onto Digital E-books With Virtual Access For Choir Members

With a bold and unprecedented new resource for choral directors during these challenging times, Excelcia Music Publishing is making its full choral music catalog, including arrangements from the popular a cappella group, Voctave, available on its new digital E-book platform.  A solution for distance learning and an easy way to create virtual performances, the new Choral E-book subscription program provides all members of a choir with digital online access to any choral music piece in the publisher’s catalog.

In addition to virtual distribution, each E-book comes with exclusive access to professionally-recorded sing-along tracks as well as piano-only tracks, as applicable, for personal or group rehearsal. Plus, a digital audio recorder is included with each E-book package allowing students/singers to make recordings of themselves to share with their teachers and fellow singers for feedback and evaluation, an indispensable tool for maintaining connections among students and teachers. The digital audio recorders further facilitate directors ability to easily assemble virtual performances. Continuing with their long-standing practice of royalty free virtual use, Excelcia Music Publishing provides music educators with unparalleled access through digital E-books.

“Because the experience of making music has never been more important, nor more challenging, I am thrilled we are offering the choral community this new E-book resource, providing virtual access to outstanding pieces from incredibly talented composers and arrangers” said Jamey Ray, Choral Editor.  “Once choirs start using E-books, I think it will open up many new possibilities for them.”

At the affordable price of a single year-long E-book subscription, choir directors obtain the ability to virtually distribute an octavo to up to 20 of their students or choir members, all at their fingertips.  Additional distributions can be purchased.  Choral E-books can be used by students/singers at home — or anywhere — on any browser or device with an internet connection.  Each E-book is password protected, and for their protection, no data is collected from students or singers.

Solo Vocal Collection books from Excelcia Music Publishing will soon be available as E-books as well.
