10 “DO NOWs” to be more successful NEXT YEAR

I know it’s summer break for many of you. For others, the school year is nearly over.

Some of you are thinking:

“I’m in summer mode. Why, on earth, would I want to start working on next year now?  I just want to relax…..”

Well, you do have a good point…..

But here you are on the internet. Why?

Because you want to improve. You want to be the best teacher you can be.

I truly believe the summer is a time mainly to relax and decompress.

At the same time, I also believe the end of the school year creates a unique space for us.

Unlike most other professions, we have a clear beginning and end each year.

The space between between the end and beginning is precious.

While most preparation can happen just before the next year begins, there are a few things that are most beneficial to do NOW, at the conclusion of our year.
