Beautiful, rich, approachable harmony, a lovely text, excellent tension and release, attention to matters of prosidy, what more do could you ask for?  The Holy Night will fit as the showcase piece for a younger choir or alongside any of the best masterworks of the late 20th century for a more experienced ensemble.
 

Jason Lamb has two works on the showcase.  His Au bord de l’eau is also very well written. This piece is available from the composer
