This is good to see. And I’m not surprised Oliver Sacks is involved.
I have wanted to reply to this almost all day–I’m moderating with Tom T today so it really has been all day–but I don’t know what to say that won’t sound, I don’t know–preachy? So I’ve decided to say a bit. I want to remind folks–while we are bickering about which Latin to use where and when, there are people who NEED music for their very lives to be whole or to be whole again.
Tom S. is right, people are transformed and those who are lost, are found. And sometimes, music is their way out of the wilderness in the first place. We should never forget that!

This is a wonderful video. The Power of Music never ceases to amaze me. I see it quite often on the transformed faces of the patients for whom our hospice choir sings, also. We should share our music with those who have lost touch. Thank you,Philip Copeland, for posting this.
