How is THIS for a new year’s resolution: Help the Choir SOUND better.  Seems simple doesn’t it?  Here is a clip from the 2011 ACDA National Conference of David Conte sharing a warm up suggestion.

  2. Suggestion – do the same exercise, but then start on Re, or start on Mi, or Fa, etc. It increases singer’s understanding of pitch relationships, escecially if you begin each scale (starting on Do, then Re,…) on the same note.
