The progress made in the past month is a true testament to the energy and dedication that continues to drive the planning of the 2012 World Choir Games, now less than 300 days away.
Along with hitting the 300-day mark, the past month brought meetings with representatives from Interkultur, the World Choir Games’ governing body, and many announcements. The Cincinnati Pops were named the Games’ Official Orchestra and will be featured at the Opening Ceremony which will take place at U.S. Bank Arena. Additionally, we announced that Cincinnati’s Verdin Company will craft the Official World Choir Games Peace Bell, to be rung as the Games begin on July 4, 2012.
