Great teaching in Louisville

May 11, 2011 by philip copeland Leave a Comment

This came across my email a couple of days ago . . . congrats, Alexis!
Noe Middle School was celebrating the arts Wednesday, and they were celebrating their choral teacher who is the newest Excel Award winner. Alexis Paxton has been teaching choral music at Noe Middle School for ten years. In that time, the school’s choirs have been praised across the state and the country. WHAS11’s Gary Roedemeier presented the Golden Apple to a teacher with a song in her heart. Congratulations to Paxton who will be honored again this fall with the other excel teachers at the Excelebration Banquet in September.
