Jouyssance Early Music Ensemble is holding auditions for all voice parts for the 2021-2022 Season. While Jouyssance is not a “vibrato-free zone,” prospective singers should be able to produce a clear, wobble-free tone. Strong sightsinging skills are a must.
Jouyssance is a community-based auditioned chamber ensemble that specializes in secular and sacred music from the Medieval, Renaissance and early Baroque eras. The group presents three programs annually as part of its regular season in the Pasadena and West Los Angeles areas, as well as occasional outreach concerts throughout Southern California.
