Superb recording by Matthew Curtis of ‘Beyond Grief’ (SATB)

December 1, 2015 by Gordon Thornett Leave a Comment

This a cappella setting of a powerful poem by Julie I Myers has a resonance in today’s troubled world. It is written for SATB choir with a soaring soprano solo part, and is beautifully performed here by Matthew Curtis. The whole piece lasts just over 2 minutes.  https://soundcloud.com/gtbham/beyond-grief  (The sheet music is available from  http://www.swirlymusic.org/music/choral-music/gordon-thornett-beyond-grief-for-mixed-choir-satb-with-soprano-soloist/)
