Music Director Dr. William O. Baker conducts Zimria Festivale Atlanta in Hope & Remembrance – A Celebration of Jewish Music & Heritage. The ensemble will be joined by soloists Margaret Kelly Cook and Cantor Tracey Scher, along with pianist Don Papenbrock, violinist Angele Lawless and cellist George Butler. The program includes “Songs of the Hiolocaust” by Atlanta composer William W. Dreyfoos; the world premiere of Amy Thropp’s setting of “Adon Olam,” and works by George Gershwin, Ed Frazier Davis, Sean Sweeden, Abaham Casseres, Naomy Shemer, and others. Zimria Festivale Atlanta is a professional ensemble of the William Baker Choral Foundation of Georgia.
