Join us for Vivaldi’s Gloria, a spectacular choral and orchestral concert presented as part of the new Symphony Cathedral series. This special evening brings together the Omaha Symphony and the renowned St. Cecilia Cathedral Choir in the magnificent acoustics of St. Cecilia Cathedral.
The program celebrates the richness of Baroque music, featuring works by Vivaldi, Bach, Corelli, Telemann, and Buxtehude, before culminating in Vivaldi’s powerful Gloria in D Major, RV 589. The performance will also showcase the cathedral’s landmark Martin Pasi pipe organ alongside orchestra and vocal soloists.
This concert offers an opportunity to experience centuries-old choral and instrumental music in one of Omaha’s most distinctive musical spaces, combining sacred architecture, outstanding acoustics, and live orchestral performance.
