Vibratum International Choral Festival 2027 welcomes choirs, conductors, singers, and musical communities to Tlaxcala, Mexico, from July 2–10, 2027, with festival visits and performances in Puebla and Atlixco. Presented by Bravissimo Choral Tours, this non-competitive international festival is open to children’s, youth, university, community, and other choirs. Individual participants are also welcome during the current registration period.
Vibratum is guided by three interconnected ideas: Sing • Explore • Exchange. The festival is designed not only as a performance tour, but as a shared artistic and cultural experience. Choirs retain their own musical identity through independent repertoire while also joining a massed-choir project. The 2027 massed work is Bob Chilcott’s Little Jazz Mass, led by Canadian guest conductor Mark Sirett.
The programme brings together rehearsals, community concerts, gala and closing performances, masterclasses, friendship exchanges, and cultural discovery. Participants encounter Mexico through its music, communities, historic settings, and local relationships. This balance is central to Vibratum’s philosophy: artistic excellence should deepen cultural understanding, while cultural immersion should enrich the music-making.
Choirs can participate as ensembles with their conductors, accompanists, chaperones, and travelling companions. The festival also offers opportunities for conductors, music students, and singers to learn, observe, collaborate, and build relationships across borders.
Registration for choirs and individual participants is ongoing. To request registration materials, discuss participation options, or receive additional festival information, contact Bravissimo Choral Tours at .
