The award-winning William Baker Festival Singers perform their 28th annual “Thanksgiving Concert for Human Need” on Friday, November 21, 7:30 PM, at the Church of the Nativity, 3800 West 119th Street in Leawood, Kansas. Admission is free, but donations will be solicited and received for Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, supporting the homeless, refugees and victims of employment and health crisis. The one hour program will include works of Composer in Residence Dr, Sean Sweeden, Hildegard von Bingen, Jean Berger, Rene Clausen, Kenneth Jennings, and others.
The Festival Singers has performed a benefit concert for human need on the Friday before Thanksgiving, each year since 1998. All expenses of the performance are covered enabling 100% of donated funds to benefit Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas.
