The Susquehanna Chorale will present its traditional Candlelight Christmas concert series on Dec. 15, 16 and 17, 2023. The Chorale is a nationally acclaimed adult chamber ensemble of 40 auditioned singers, founded in 1981 by Artistic Director and Conductor Linda L. Tedford.
This year’s Candlelight Christmas concerts will include classics interwoven with new and creative settings of familiar texts. From timeless sacred works to contemporary arrangements of familiar tunes and beloved carols with our audience members—this is Christmas with the Susquehanna Chorale.
This year features Pachelbel’s Magnificat, Gloria by Randol Bass, the music of Bob Chilcott, John Rutter, Mack Wilberg, and Stephen Paulus, and delightful settings of traditional carols including Jingle Bells. As lights are dimmed and candles glow, the Chorale will once again surround the audience for the traditional finale, Silent Night. Experience the beautiful moments of Christmas as only the Susquehanna Chorale can bring them to you!
The concert will be preceded by a 15-minute instrumental recital.

Tickets are available now through the Chorale’s website, www.susquehannachorale.org, or by calling the Messiah University Box Office, which handles tickets for all the Chorale’s concert venues, at 717.691.6036, Option 1.
Tickets are $32.69 in advance, and $35.00 at the door for adults; and $12.29 in advance, and $10.00 at the door for students. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. New this year is a Livestream Option with the performance at Messiah University for $22.49!
