Come sing two favorites of choral singers everywhere: Bach, Christmas Oratorio and Brahms, German Requiem! Join the Fairfield County Chorale, one of Connecticut’s most renowned choral groups.
The Fairfield County Chorale has been singing for over 60 years. We have professional soloists and are accompanied by a full orchestra! The experience of performing in this environment is not to be missed.
Our usual venue is the Norwalk City Hall Auditorium where the acoustics really enhance the quality of our performances.
If you are a choral singer, and all this appeals to you, come to our September Sing, Sept. 10, First Church Congregational in Fairfield, 148 Beach Rd, 4pm, $10 at the door. There you can join in a read-thru of the Brahms and a sampling of other shorter works we will perform in our upcoming season. (Bring your own score, if you have one, or borrow one of ours) Meet our Music Director, Maestro David Rosenmeyer and some of our members. Join us afterwards for a wine and cheese reception. If you can’t make the Sing, come sit in at our first rehearsal on Monday, September 11, at 7pm at the Norwalk City Hall, Mary McCarthy Room.
We welcome new singers who enjoy the feeling of community that our blending voices have! Please use our website, fairfieldcountychorale.org or email to let us know you’re coming, .
We look forward to meeting and singing with you!
