Cantare’s 100-voice adult Chorale returns to Walnut Creek for one night only, to present two contrasting 20th century choral-orchestral masterworks: Maurice Duruflé’s lush and serene setting of the Requiem and William Walton’s thrilling—and rarely performed!—Belshazzar’s Feast. They will be accompanied by a full orchestra, as well as soloists Megan Berti (mezzo-soprano) and Andrew Pardini (baritone), and directed by David Morales.
