The Saint Louis Chamber Chorus presents polychoral works to complement the rich resonance of the St. Louis Cathedral Basilica on Sunday, November 8, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Repertoire includes the 3-choir “Duo Seraphim,” by Guerrero, Geoffrey Burgon’s “The Fire of Heaven” (in 27 voice parts!), and the rarely performed, “Hora Est,” scored for four separate choruses by Felix Mendelssohn. The program closes with Ben Parry’s “Flame,” written for 12 voice parts. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
