The Mohawk Valley Choral Society of Central New York has announced as its Winter Concert, The Many Moods of Christmas, as arranged by Robert Shaw and Robert Russell Bennett.
It invites all interested Sopranos, Altos, Tenors or Basses to join its ranks.
The Chorus will be conducted by Randy Davis, the chorus’ Interim Artistic Director.
Rehearsals will start Monday, September 8, 2025, at the Mohawk Reformed Church on South Otsego, Street in Mohawk, NY.
Rehearsals will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. each Monday the concert at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2025.
The Many Moods of Christmas consists of eighteen Christmas carols arranged for chorus and orchestra and grouped into four suites.
Amateur or professional Sopranos, Altos, Tenors or Basses interested in joining the Mohawk Valley Choral Society in this concert are asked to email for further information about the Choral Society and the winter concert.
Formed in 1982, The Mohawk Valley Choral Society, a non-audition choral group, is composed of singers ranging in age from teenagers to those in their 80’s.
Anyone who has an interest in singing, has Monday evenings free, and is willing to commit to weekly two-hour rehearsals is invited to come sing with the Mohawk Valley Choral Society.
