Melodia Women’s Choir presents A Tapestry of Song

Melodia’s spring 2024 concert, A Tapestry of Song, weaves together contrasting music for treble voices. Featuring the world premiere of a commissioned work by Emily Mason, “Your Children;” Josef Rheinberger’s “Mass in A Major, Op 126,” Holst’s “Choral Hymns from the Rig Veda Group 3” in celebration of the composers 150th anniversary, and works by Sally Lamb McCune, Bob Chilcott and more.

Conducted by Cynthia Powell, Artistic Director, with Janet Sora Chung, piano and organ, Jules Biber, cello, and Rita Costanzi, harp.
