EXIGENCE Vocal Ensemble

EXIGENCE, a Detroit-based professional vocal ensemble, continues the Sphinx Organization’s presence on the schedules of South Bend’s leading music presenters. The 31-member ensemble, whose name means “great need,” was formed in 2018 to harness the creative energy and excellence of Black and Latinx professional choral music artists.

Eugene Rogers conducts the program A Vision Unfolding, drawing pieces from composers like South Korea’s Hyo-Won Woo to John Legend and Common.
