Changed My Name – New South Festival Singers Atlanta

Music Director Lynn Swanson and the New South Festival Singers  perform their annual Tribute to the American Black Composer concert on Sunday, February 11, 2024, in the nave of The Church at St. John, 550 Mt Paran Road, Atlanta, GA 30327.  The featured work is the cantata Changed My Name by Linda Twine.  Dr. Norma Raybon will be in the role of Sojourner Truth.  The Reverend Henrietta Andrews will be in the role of Harriet Tubman.  Changed My Name is a deeply moving, rarely performed work that commemorates the black experience.  FestivalSingers.org/concerts
