Celestial Harmony launches its annual winter gala with Starlit Horizons, an immersive program celebrating contemporary composers who blend choral textures with cinematic soundscapes. The evening’s highlight will be the world premiere of Midnight Aurora, a luminous choral suite by Seattle-based composer Aiden Rivera, commissioned exclusively for Celestial Harmony. Additional works from Jocelyn Hagen, Ēriks Ešenvalds, Dale Trumbore, and Saunder Choi will round out this evocative winter performance. Guest conductor Lillian Hart will guide the ensemble through an evening shaped by shimmering harmonies and atmospheric storytelling.
In honor of the new season, Celestial Harmony is debuting four additions to its City Voices Songbook—a growing collection designed to uplift emerging artists and foster community music-making. These selections will be featured in pop-up performances and open-air winter gatherings across the city, inviting residents to sing, participate, and share in the musical warmth of the season.
