Caritas Chamber Chorale presents The Best of All’s the Heart

Caritas Chamber Chorale, directed by Barbara Sanderman, will present two free, public concerts of sacred music, entitled The Best of All’s the Heart, for the benefit of Adorno Fathers’ Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa.
The program presents a musical look at our invitation to Christ, our devotion to Him, and the treasures our faith has in store for us. This choral concert is entirely a cappella. The music encompasses a wide variety of styles from early music to spirituals. It features works by such diverse composers as Thomas Tallis, Morten Lauridsen and Arvo Pärt. The concert’s title is derived from Randall Thompson’s “The Best of Rooms,” which will be presented at this concert. All are invited to attend.
The concert will be presented on:
• Friday, April 19, 2024, 7:30pm, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 250 Bebout Ave., Stirling, NJ 07980
• Saturday, April 20, 2024, 7:30pm, at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Church, 600 Harris Ave., Middlesex, NJ 08846
These concerts are free and open to the public. The entirety of a freewill offering will benefit the Pierluigi Fabbiani Nursery School, the Gianni Diurni Primary School, and the Foyer de l’Enfance Paolo Di Nardo Orphanage, run by the Adorno Fathers’ St. Francis Caracciolo Mission in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa.
Caritas Chamber Chorale will also present this program in a private concert in honor of the 175th Anniversary of the Sisters of Christian Charity.
Caritas Chamber Chorale is a 20+ voice choir dedicated to serving the poorest of the poor through the art of sacred music.
