Accord Treble Choir presents “Urgent Earth”

Accord Treble Choir will present its final concert of the season on Friday, June 14 at St. John’s in the Village (218 W. 11th St., NY, NY) at 7pm. The centerpiece of this performance is the premiere of a new eco-cantata for treble voices, “Urgent Earth” with music by Stefania de Kenessey and poetry by Annie Finch. The program features a second world premiere, “La Grandeza” by Spanish composer Sonia Megías, which will be performed with Dúa de Pel. Additional Earth-themed a cappella choral works by Dede Duson, Marie-Claire Saindon, David Lang, Sarah Quartel, and others. Reception to follow!
