The San Francisco Choral Society continues its 35th anniversary celebrations with a return to Davies Symphony Hall for its third annual Summer Festival Chorus performing Mendelssohn’s popular, large-scale oratorio Elijah. The Summer Festival Chorus program brings experienced singers from across the country and as far away as Singapore for a full week of rehearsals with SF Choral’s Resident Chorus, culminating in the performance at Davies. Led by Artistic Director Robert Geary, SF Choral will combine forces with the San Francisco Girls Chorus in a debut collaboration, the California Chamber Symphony as well as guest artists Michelle Rice (soprano), Courtney Miller (mezzo soprano), Brian Thorsett (tenor), and Eugene Brancoveanu (bass).
$50 to $81.
