11/12, Gabriel Faure’s Requiem

November 12, 7:00 p.m. and November 13, 4:00 p.m.

The San Francisco Choral Society brings its season to a close with two significant works written over three quarters of a century apart, Faure’s Requiem and Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, alongside music from two of the finest American choral composers of this generation, Eric Whitacre’s Five Hebrew Love Songs and selections from Kevin Allen’s Missa Rex Genitor. A variety of guest artists will feature including bass baritone Bradley Kynard, boy soprano, Brenn Farrell, from the Pacific Boychoir Academy, organist Christopher Keady, harpist Constance Koo, percussionist Artie Storch, and violinist Jason Totzke.
