Tenors and Basses needed for Mozart’s Sparrow Mass and cool arrangement of Nearer My God to Thee

October 19, 2017 by Linda Price Leave a Comment

FPCSA Chancel Choir will be performing Mozart’s Sparrow Mass on Sunday, Dec 10th, during 10 am worship. Volunteer singers are needed, especially tenors and basses. We will also present a very cool version of Nearer My God to Thee. We have a fantastic tenor soloist for this! The arrangement uses Bulgarian (“racenica”) rhythm, as sung by a BYU men’s choir. (Check it out on YouTube!) Our arrangement is by our Music Director, Daniel Canosa.
REHEARSALS are Thursday evenings, 7:30-8:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church San Anselmo, 72 Kensington Rd, San Anselmo, CA 94960
Contact Linda Price through the link above if you have any questions.
