Summer Season Beginning for Schiller Chorus- All Welcome

No auditions required, all voice types welcome!

Coming off our beautiful May 5 Mozart Vespers concert, the Schiller Inst. NYC Chorus is beginning it’s Summer and Fall rehearsal cycles.

Our summer/fall programs will include new spirituals and other English
language choral music, Garcia, Bach, Brahms & Schubert.

July 28 @ St. Anselms church- an accapella concert. Nunes Garcia’s Gradual
for Palm Sunday, Sicut Locutus Est from Bach’s Magnificat, 2 new
spirituals: Hairston’s Poor man Lazarus, and Nathaniel Dett’s Let us Cheer
the Weary Traveler

September 8 @ St Veronica’s Church in the Village: Brahms Naenie, Bach Jesu
Meine Freude, a mass by Schubert (Latin), spirituals
