Stamford Chorale Seeks Members

January 14, 2019 by Carol Bakinowski Leave a Comment

Love to sing? Join the Stamford Chorale as it celebrates its 70th year. Open rehearsals begin Tuesday, Jan. 29, from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at Stamford Government Center, second floor, 888 Washington Blvd., and continue through February.

The community chorus, which does not require auditions, invites singers, amateur to professional – in all voice parts. Tenors and basses particularly are welcome.

The chorale sings music from a variety of genres ranging from classical to contemporary.

Conductor Eric Trudel is an award-winning vocal coach and pianist who has performed throughout Europe, Asia, Canada and the United States. He teaches at Hartt School of Music and at Western and Southern Connecticut State universities.

Pianist Cihan Yücel is completing his doctor of musical arts degree at Hartt and is staff accompanist at the school.
