The Schiller Institute will present Mozart’s Requiem at a series of performances this September in honor of the victims of the tragic attacks of September 11, 2001. This incredible last work of Mozart is an appropriate offering in memorial for the almost 3000 people who died that day. We also present it as a tribute to the families of the victims, many of whom have fought tirelessly for justice against the perpetrators of those evil acts. The recent victory of the release of the 28 Pages shows that we can achieve justice for 9-11!

As Friedrich Schiller identified, “It is through beauty that one proceeds to freedom.” Helga Zepp-LaRouche, wife of economist Lyndon LaRouche, founded the Schiller Institute over 30 years ago to fight for the beauty of mankind. All rehearsals and concerts are done at the Verdi scientific tuning of A=432 Hz.
We seek sopranos, especially, but also any singers who wish to participate. Concerts will be September 9,10,11,12 – you are not required to be at all 4.
The concert will include Mozart Requiem, as well as a few supplementary pieces, largely African-American Spirituals.
The Schiller Institute has several choruses in the New York area, all of which will come together for this great event:
Please call or email for more information. If you choose email, please include a good contact phone number, so we can talk. Contact Margaret Greenspan 646-509-5451 or
