We are four guys who joined together to sing chant this past Lent in San Francisco. Three of us are dedicated amateur singers along with one professional musician. We are putting together a group to sing ‘Gregorian’ chant for a meditative evening of plainsong and piano improvisations and possibly continue beyond that event. We’re looking for other guys (tenors and basses) interested in singing Latin plainsong.
Our goals are:
To bring together guys who have interest in singing chant and sing.
To foster a communal bond while singing together.
To learn something about chant and each other.
To present an evening of meditative plainsong and piano improvisation.
