Seeking Choral Singers for PROTOTYPE 2026

PROTOTYPE invites singers of all ages to take part in The All Sing – a large-scale choral spectacle performed in the heart of Times Square. We’re seeking a diverse ensemble of volunteer singers to help bring this exciting new work to life.

This year’s edition, The All Sing: Whale-Road (Hwael-Rād), is an ode to song and human-animal connection, uniting hundreds of voices in a vibrant tapestry of black metal blast beats and tender choral whalesong. 

The PROTOTYPE Festival is an internationally acclaimed annual gathering celebrating new vocal music each January in NYC, and The All Sing is one of our signature community-based projects.

Event Details

• Date: Sunday January 11, 2026
• Location: Father Duffy Square in Times Square
• Schedule: 10am rehearsal | 2pm performance
• Music: A new composition by Jens Ibsen for 100 person volunteer choir with metal rock band
