Section Leaders Wanted

Episcopal parish in Waxhaw seeking Soprano and Bass section leaders for volunteer choir. Duties include rehearsal on Wednesdays from 7:30-9, and Sunday service at 11:15 (rehearsal at 10:15). Attendance also expected at Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday, Easter Vigil, and possible additional rehearsals and services as announced.
Successful candidates will have good sight-reading skills, be able to lead the section vocally and musically, and be interested in taking the choir to the next level. The choir currently sings a variety of music, including standard choral pieces from the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as occasional Latin motets.
$35 per call (typically $70 per week).
