SATB setting of William Blake’s “The Lamb”

October 12, 2026 by David Rain Leave a Comment

I feel so incredibly blessed. My SATB setting of William Blake’s poem “The Lamb” has been included in the “Vancouver Chamber Choir Series” of music for accomplished choirs, curated by Kari Turunen for Cypress Choral Music.

I feel doubly blessed that my choral creation has been included alongside 7 beautiful songs by fellow composers Katharine Petkovski, Andrew Balfour, Sophia Colpitts, Christopher Tyler Nickel and Gerda Blok-Wilson.

My heartfelt thanks go to Kari and the Vancouver Chamber Choir, and to Larry Nickel for publishing “The Lamb,” which is dedicated to my two darling grandkids, “wee lambs” themselves.

You can check out “The Lamb” and the other songs here: https://cypresschoral.com/vancouver-chamber-choir-series/.
