Paid Singers Section Leader – Soprano, Alto, Tenor & Bass in Dallas

Paid Section Leader/Song Leader

The successful candidate should demonstrate proficiency in reading music, both in various clefs as well as the full score. Candidates should have knowledge of styles of various eras in choral music, such as chant, polyphony, and large SATB choral works of all eras, including spirituals.

The choir will sing weekly at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. masses. Rehearsal twice a month on Wednesday nights. This will be a special group made of four to eight people. 

Compensation: Negotiable; however, funerals and weddings are fixed-rate stipends. A few singers will be invited to assist with the children’s choir and/or Teen Choir for additional pay.
