Auditions for Ember’s May concert will be held Thursday, March 7th, 6-9PM, in the Opera America building, one block south of Penn Station.

Ember’s May concert will feature three premieres, each of which emerges from the Ember Ablaze Composer Lab and Composer in Residence programs, and will be complemented by popularly known and loved selections surrounding the theme of Love and Loathing.
Ember is a semi-pro chamber ensemble of 25-30 singers, performing its full season in NJ and NYC. Singers must possess solid sight-reading skills, excellent intonation and a clear tone. Singers should prepare a solo in the style of their choosing that showcases their ability. They will also be required to sight-sing during the audition.

Performance of, and interaction with living composers.
Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings, in the Times Square area.
