Los Robles Master Chorale is holding auditions for volunteer singers in May 2016 for the 2016 | 17 Season. We are hearing all voice types. We rehearse in Oak Park, California and perform at different venues in southern California. The choir performed earlier this month at Walt Disney Concert Hall with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, John Adams conducting, for the 21c Liederabend project of contemporary music.
We are a 90-voice choir that regularly performs both commissioned works and masterworks. We partner with New West Symphony, and Los Angeles Philharmonic, in addition to performing four concerts on our own series every season. Many of our singers work as session singers in film and sing with LRMC as a means of keeping their voices in shape in between gigs. It’s a terrific choir filled with wonderful people.
