Hello,
I am looking for a copy of “Song is Love Unknown,” JOHN IRELAND’S composition. Can’t find it on IMSLP or CPDL. There is a lovely arrangement for SATB, organ, oboe and flute on YouTube. Anyone know anything about it?
Linda

Gorgeous arrangement – would be fairly straightforward to transcribe if you can’t find it.

If I understand correctly, Linda is looking for this specific arrangement.
I would be interested to know who’s it is as well.

Linda, I think you won’t find it in CPDL or IMSLP because it’s still under copyright. You’ll find it in a number of hymnals, Check Hymnary.org for some sources

Thanks! Interesting that there are a number of Ireland’s works in IMSLP. I did check Hymnary.org; it’s there but without the words which I guess I could use if need be. I would just love to find that one arrangement though…
Thank you very much for your reply! 🙂
