Long Beach Camerata Singers Holding Open Auditions! August 9&10 6PM-9PM

• Must be at least 18 years or older • Professional vocal training strongly encouraged • College Level Music courses helpful

FIFTEEN-MINUTE AUDITION TO INCLUDE:

• Choral resume • Sing a prepared song of your choice • Vocal Range Check • Sight Reading           • Music Theory/Musicianship Check • Brief interview • Sing a chromatic and whole step scale                **An Accompanist will be provided 

Should you become a member of the Camerata Singers, you will join one of the major choral organizations in Southern California. As members, singers agree to:

• Attend 80% of rehearsals and all Dress Rehearsals for each concert

• Study the repertoire independently and be prepared for each rehearsal

• Procure the required concert attire: tuxedo for men and a uniform, long black dress for women, plus concert music folder

• Participate in the promotion and growth of the Choir, including selling tickets, promoting concerts, supporting fund-raising activities, and performing volunteer tasks.
