Concord Chamber Singers of the Lehigh Valley, PA invites experienced choral singers to audition for our 2018-19, 52nd Season. Conducted by Dr. Jennifer Kelly, CCS is a 40-voice chamber chorus with high musical standards and friendly, supportive members who sing an eclectically stylistic repertoire of both classic and contemporary works. We encourage healthy, flexible singing to perform everything from major works with orchestra to a cappella chamber pieces, from well-known repertoire to underrepresented composers, featured vocal jazz and cabaret. We also feature our CCS members in frequent solos.
Our 2018-19 season includes a Yuletide Feast, Family Concert, and Spring Concert featuring a world premiere major work by Libby Larsen with orchestra and Irish tenor Emmet Cahill. Our mission is to foster excellent singing and impactful storytelling while engaging communities in the vibrancy of the choral art. CCS makes conscious decisions that affect and support our greater community.
